A musician by birth, a poet by heart, Marialicia Leon has a gift: to write music and lyrics that touch human hearts. Music composer and producer with a purpose and a mission. Marialicia started writing songs when she was only 13 years old and produced shows featuring original songs and educational drama during Jr. High School and High School years. During her early college years she studied acting and Theater production and co-produced along Teatrum and Antifaz Productions "Influencia en Nuevos Odres" (Influence on New Wineskins), a recital featuring theatrical scenes along with original music by local artist, presented in the Figueroa Chapel Amphitheater in University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, Campus.
After finishing a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Marialicia studied one year of Classical Music Studied (Applied Music - Voice) at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, San Germán, campus finishing the year with 4.00 GPA and transferring to Berklee College of Music. León graduated from Berklee's Music Production and Engineering program in 2006. In 2009 she graduated with a Master's Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University as the Salutatorian of her Class and earning the Advanced Achievement Award and six Course Director Awards.
Marialicia is the producer of the Theatrical Symphonic Metal band project Kristalida and currently volunteers as a board member of Sierra Music Society, a non-profit organization for the promotion of music and culture in Northern Nevada. León sings as Second Soprano in the professional large vocal ensemble P'opera and currently composes the music for the upcoming Reality TV show Sober Footprints.

Whatever media that we produce and feed into the masses has the potential to inspire and teach ways of living and values to our society, to our youth. We have great power, and with it comes an even bigger responsibility. We shall not feed the minds with negative things because "that's what sells." It's our job to choose and produce the right content and make it sell. Kindness and responsibility for a better word should be made famous. We have the power to inspire, educate, and transform. That is the purpose of my music and my mission in life: To write songs with the potential to motivate, to show the way, and bring hope."
